Review Policies and System

Well, hello and welcome to the review policies and system of Silver Lining Reviews. I will try and keep this as simple as possible. I the Bookish Dryad am not and will not be receiving money for my reviews, nor will I be making people pay for my services, quite honestly who really does. Now this will be split into three different sections; The genre's I will read, The way I will be reviewing, and finally the way reviews shall be graded. This is as simple as this page shall be.
The Genre's I Will Read
As was said in the About page, this blog will mainly be featuring Young Adult novels as well as Manga, Manhwa, and other types of comics and graphic novels. In the future I will probably include Classical Novels onto the list as well. If there is anything else that may have been forgotten or genre's you may want please email: silverliningreviews@gmail.com

How I Will Review Books
Because I want to give my readers the most I can, the reviews will be rather long and involved. The reviews will be split into two different sections. Section one will be for the people who don't want spoilers, usually this will be those who plan on buying or reading the book that will be reviewed. Section two will be much more involved, this section will be for those who may have read the novel or for the sack of having a discussion about book itself. This is how this section will be set up:
  • Cover
  • Characters
  • Plot
  • The Silver Lining
As the name of the blog, I believe there is a silver lining to every book, even the bad ones. Which is why at the end of every review I will put in my "silver lining" to the book that was reviewed, and I invite everyone to do so as well. In the comments I would like for followers to put in their thoughts of what may or may not have been the "silver lining" to the book, I would like it to be descriptive even imaginative and maybe we can discuss it all in a civil manner.

How Reviews Shall Be Rated
Every category will be graded with a simple letter grade from A to F, while for the total review that will be seen at the beginning and end of every review will be scored by leaves, four leaves to be exact. Now you may be asking how can I rate with only four leaves? Well this is how:
= Amazing! Highly recommend for everyone and anyone!
= Its Pretty Good. Would recommend to some not all.
= Average. Definitely wouldn't read a second time.
= Utterly Horrible. Would never recommend to anyone
